Competing within the health drink industry, Kabaki faced unique business challenges. When they approached Astra Digital they were a company that relied heavily upon direct business relationships and sales teams to purchase large quantities of their product. However, their e-commerce store seemed to be an afterthought because most of their business was coming from direct sales orders.

A robust growth marketing strategy was important for this small business. Astra Digital looked to target several digital channels to increase traffic and and increase brand awareness.

The next step that Astra Digital took was to strengthen the marketing mix the Kabaki brand by:

  • Creating stunning visual advertisements for paid social campaigns
  • Implementing remarketing campaigns for website visitors
  • Tweaking the website experience to a single page checkout

This three point strategy proved to be a simple, but potently effective mix of high impact tactics.

Results

The first thing that the internal team noticed was the increase in traffic numbers coming to website. During the first month conversions, were slow to grow as the marketing campaigns continued to be optimized and gather data to find the ideal customer.

After several changes to the checkout process the website began to see a significant gains in conversions, as an added side effect, the average order value of each customer increased be 11% as well.
